Everest Panorama
(15 Days, Lodges / Hotels)

Sherpa's village, Buddhist monasteries & the highest peaks on earth!

Everest PanoramaIn the shadow of Everest lies the traditional homeland of the Sherpas, the renowned mountain people who moved south from the Tibetan plateau to settle in this area in the fifteenth century. Flying into the spectacular mountain airstrip at Lukla Bazaar, our first destination is Namche Bazaar, the trading capital and main town of the Khumbu region, which is also the headquarters for the Sagarmatha National Park. Leaving Namche, we follow the trails used by many Everest expeditions, to the famous Buddhist monastery at Thyangboche, frequently described as finest mountain viewpoint in the world. To get closer views of the big peaks we visit Dingboche, nestled under the great mountain Nuptse – Lhotse wall and dominated to the south by Ama Dablam and Thamserku.
