Everest Adventure
(15 Days/ Lodges/Hotels/River Camp)
| Trekking towards Everest, mountain biking in the
Kathmandu Valley and rafting the rapids of the Bhote Koshi |
This
itinerary offers the most stunning combinations of scenery, history and
culture that can not be found in any part of the world. The higher regions
close to the great peaks can really only be seen on foot, but the middle
hills can be explored by other forms of transport which are fun,
exhilarating and rewarding. Mountain biking around the rim of the Kathmandu
Valley, visiting temples and watching the sunrise over the snows of the
Himalaya are not to be missed, while tackling the white-water rapids of the
Bhote Koshi as it flows down from the high mountains to the plains of India,
adds even more excitement. The highlight has the sight of Everest at dawn
from Thyangboche Monastery, deep in the Sherpa region of Khumbu valley and
the goal of our 7 days trek.
