Annapurna & Kopra Ridge Trekking
(16 Days, Camping/Hotels)
| A new remote camping trek through the seldom-visited foothills of Annapurna
South to the spectacular Kopra Ridge |

Many of Annapurna's main trails are heavily trekked, and to find quieter but
equally scenic regions often requires more time than most people can spare. This
trek is both remote and quite short and travels through many isolated villages,
beautiful forests and rarely trekked high alpine pastures offering magnificent
views of the Annapurna range. From the Pokhara valley, the trek passes
cultivated terraces and tranquil villages with ever changing views of the
stunning snow-covered Annapurnas before we leave habitation behind us. Trekking
through rhododendron forests we reach the Kopra Ridge (3870m), one of the most
spectacular vantage points in Nepal where we can enjoy the stunning wild scenery
beneath the towering peaks of Nilgiri, Annapurna South (7237m), Annapurna I
(8091m) and the Dhaulagiri massif rising above the Kali Gandaki valley. Our
route descends through alpine country on a different trail back to Pokhara.
