The

best high mountain trekking in Himalayas. This treks pass through underneath
of fishtail peak of Machhapuchhre & our destination of Annapurna
Sanctuary, a vast natural amphitheater ringed by glistening peaks and
reputed to be the home of the Gods. Further to the west, between the 8,000m.
peaks of Annapurna & Dhaulagiri, a great gorge has been cut by the waters
of the Kali Gandaki as it flows south towards the plains of India. Our
rafting put-in point is at the southern end of this gorge and marks the
start of three enthralling days of river descent. The exhilarating rapids
and calmer stretches, taking you to the remote and peaceful villages, Kali
Gandaki offers you true excitement of wild water expedition.

4095m., average 2440m. 3 days rafting.
Grade: Moderate, Challenging.
Group & Staff: min. 8, max. 16, plus leader, rafting crew and
appropriate local staff on trek.
Accommodation: 4 nights hotels, 2 nights camping, 9 nights lodges.
Food: Full board while rafting, breakfast in Kathmandu & Pokhara;
food not included on trek.
Itinerary:
Day 1 Arrive Kathmandu.
Day 2 Free day for sightseeing.
Day 3 Drive to Pokhara and on to Birethanti.
Day 4/ 5/ 6 Approach the Sanctuary along the valley of the Modi Khola.
Day 7/ 8 Explore the high alpine wilderness of the Sanctuary.
Day 9/ 10/ 11 Descend to the roadhead at Birethanti.
Day 12 Short drive to our rafting put-in point, safety briefing and
afternoon rafting.
Day 13/ 14 Rafting the Kali Gandaki; drive to Pokhara.
Day 15 Fly to Kathmandu.
Day 16 Final departure
